If t is not into 1.5X, then planned it on 1.6X
« on: August 14, 2009, 04:54:16 pm »
This is what I hoped:

The "Registered to" can be some non ASCII character. This is thinking that there might be people having the same family name and name. With non ASCII character support for registered to, there is a fair chance people might just use their mother tongue name and reduce the likelyhood for name confusion.

Although my main thought is personalation  ;)

Ok, I would keep in mind support for Unicode names for Registered to field.
Maybe even for 1.5x.

Best regards,
Alex.

Wow, there are people who have the same thought as me, cheers!

Btw, if that is the case, are the people here allowed to change the name by then?

Also, even if no change in name, will these contribution license (People who reported > 5 bugs or provide new syntax etc) works for all updates, major or minor or only minor ones (Within 1.XX series)

Officially, as written here as registered user you get free minor updates. But till now you can use you key with all version of the HippoEDIT and I do not plan to change this soon. But this is not officially.

Best regards,
Alex.
