File encoding do not set "Modified" -flag

File encoding do not set "Modified" -flag

if i load an file and change encoding,
the file is NOT labled as modified,
and so i can't save this file with this new encoding just by using Ctrl+S.

I have to add an blank to be able to save it.
Or i have to use "Save as..." , looking again for the code, save, answer overwrite-dialog,

Question:  shouldn't any change set the file to "modified" ?  (i think we had this discuss already)

Hello Stefan,

probably you are right. At least in MS Outlook, if you change encoding of the mail, it also suggest you to save changes.
In HE case, modified flag is explicitly cleaned, to emulate behavior of web browser, when encoding change does not change a page...
This would be fixed in new beta.

Best regards,
Alex.
