Issue with code templates

Since 1.40.552, when I enter some code template (f.ex. "for" in Perl or "<font" in Html) the CT expands well but it remains before the extended text.
Is there due to any option ? Because I just uninstalled all HE, then installed 1.33 then 1.40.552 is it possible that I missed sthg ?
