Just smite me, but I think then it is better to remove this ? mark from the form or display nothing when clicked.

Hello Arthur,

I would leave it like it is, and would add help text if somebody would try to get context info and get such message.
Then I would get priority. And adding them one by one is easier then all at once ;)

In which you was interested? ;)

Best regards,
Alex.

Hello Stefan,

thanks a lot for help offer!

If I can get a help text for missed item + its number (it is in tooltip) + location (Page + Name of property) this would help a lot.
Then just to put text to resources would take mostly no time.
Even brief text would be enough.
Or just location (Page + Name of property) of missed items sorted in priority as they needed (requested), then I can add them togeter. This would cost less efforts as adding then one by one.

Best regards,
Alex.

I needed to see what "Expert Mode" option is all about, because changing it does not do anything, thus I was thinking I am not understanding how it supposed to work.

Instead, I suggest, "Minimize to tray" wording be expanded to say "Minimize to tray on Esc button click" and may be the square ? mark functionality is then thus becomes redundant?
PS: Same is with "Show Start Page" the meaning is actually Show Start Page on Application Start, so why not to just create neat self-explanatory captions and we are done?

Hi Arthur,

so why not to just create neat self-explanatory captions and we are done?
I think because this needs more place which could on the otherside be used for to add more controls.
And after you know once what an option does you don't need the lengthy explanation So tooltips is an nice helper.
And on some topics you need even more room to explain it understandable then the line in the dialog provides.
Some times you can shrink an description in an short line, sometimes you need more to explain.

I think even first Options is not needed, because Context Help currently only available there.
Added: I have checked once more. I only need ID and explanation text. By ID I can find control, and by text can verify that what I have found correct.
Also you can use \n for multiline.

I would already take your texts ;)

to Arthur:
I agree with Stefan, he is completely right, and his opinion correspond to my when I select text (do not talk about correct english ;) ).
Also, from usability point of view, as text shorter (but of course sufficient to get sense) as it easier to find it in the dialog or menu. Otherwise your eyes should go through all text mass to get option you need. Of course this is not at first time you see a dialog. But I think there would be more cases when you already know what you are searching then read it first time. So tooltip explanantion are fine for that ;)

Hello Stefan,

thanks a lot. I have added help items you suggested, would be available with next beta. Also have clarified options you was not sure (with ???).
Quote
1062 Working Dir for  "start with new document"  ? ?
Working directory is also used (I have added explanantion), and overwrites settinsg done for File Open dialog (can be global or project dependent), but yes, maybe it is too complex and shoul be removed...

Best regards,
Alex.
