If I want to do a preview of a vb script file in web-browser (Win XP SP3 with IE8) I get the file open/save dialog instead, so if I hit Close I get Navigation to Web Page Cancelled message.

Hello Arthur,

here I can do nothing. The popup comes from IE, and this is default action of it if you would like to open vbs file. Maybe there are some setting of the IE exist you can change (check IE user settings) to have some other default action.

And also I do not think that there is good use case for using of the HTML (browser) preview for VBS files. As far as I know this makes sense only for HTML/PHP/ASP or XML files...

Best regards,
Alex.

Makes sense, agree, please mark it as resolved or not an issue/bug
