I don't remember if we already talked about this:

could there be an tooltip for code templates in the hint list to preview what will be inserted? (see picture)

Ahh, another thing:

in the code hint dialog only the "key" of the code template is presented, whereas the view of the  "descr" would be nifty too.

Hi Stefan,

yes, the preview of the template would be good. Check it in next beta.

Description of the template in completion list - maybe some when later. Currently there is not good way to display both key and description together and I dont want to merge them as you have suggested, because contents of the list is used for filtering and further as key for finding appropriate way for expanding.

Also for  now, no syntax highlighting in tooltip possible. But would be developed with time, then we can check this once more .

A very welcome feature, thanks  .

Besides, I had suggested it implemented, but in a slightly different flavor- as a code snippets manager (clips ring, etc.);

What I mean is that it rather should be present in a form of a dockable window on my left (for example, by default), this is optimal for interacting with the main editor window, also becomes very visible.
