Distruction Free Full Screen
« on: August 06, 2009, 09:36:13 pm »
Can I ask creating a new view mode for the Full Screen that would be  a "destruction free" view one?

I mean if I use F11, I get the tabs, the document bar, the left + right margins /gutter, and I get the bottom search bar along with the status bar.

I wish I could have a Full Screen view mode that would not show all of the above, just a document + the close Full Screen button.

Generally you can get this manually:
- hide indicator margin
- set tabs mode to None
- just close search bar and status bar

the set of the controls to be visible on Full Screen mode is rather individual, and it is difficult to satisfy everybody. That is why current style is used. Similar to other editors. The mode you want is mostly useful for plain text editing, not a source code.

I would keep this in mind, but do not promise. If this would be strongly required by other users, I would add a way to configure Full Screen mode, but probably in xml.

Best regards,
Alex.
