Font size in the "Find Results" and etc.
« on: July 15, 2011, 10:36:33 pm »
It would be nice to be able to change font size for that window in the "Options" or like "Ctrl+Mouse Scroll" or something like that.

PS: Also. Is there way to change default scaling value for editor text by option or xml config file or by the another way?

Did you try to use the Scaling Value icon found in the bottom bar (shows 100% by default)?
Alternatively, go to View -> Zoom In/Out ()

I mean that you open document and it  already has default scaling, setted by option like "Default scaling value".

Saying the truth, the question was not really clear for me :)

you can set font size for the Find Result Window 1/2  same way, as it can be done for any other syntax.
Tools->Options->Syntax Settings->Find Result 1 Window->Font and Colors -> Size.

Scaling factor, for editor window, it is nothing more as just dynamically changing of the font size.
So, I do not understand, why additional setting for default scaling is necessary, if you can just set font size you want in syntax settings.

But, in 1.50 there will be no Find Result as text window any more: results are displayed in tree view. And way I have described does not work. Probably I need to implement something similar for the tree view also...

Thanks, it helped for "Find Result 1/2" and "Output" but I don't see the same for "Bookmarks".

That's not critical I just asked about because Opera browser has that feature.

Because it is not done :) it is only available for edit controls. And bookmark window is a list. Also in 1.50 as a plug-in. Probably I need to organize font sizing for it and Search output in different way, not as syntax settings but some where in plug-in dependent settings. I will add this for 1.50 todo.
And if you will ask: changing of the font size is also not available for File and Project explorer :)

HippoEDIT also have it in text editor window as Ctrl+Mouse scroll or Ctrl +/- or with status bar scale factor.
Only not available for tools windows. But if it is critical, you can change windows DPI settings, or window font, and then tools windows fonts will be also increased.
