Named vs. Regular Bookmarks
« on: June 05, 2009, 09:01:37 pm »
I propose to

a) clearly separate in the menu the bookmark types by specifying its type (e.g. named vs. regular);

b) I would like to have the ability to name the named bookmark the name I want.
For example, I may set one bookmark on the line of code I will later modify as "Modify variable xyz to type abc" and another bookmark would be named say "Populate variable xyz"

Hello Arthur,

Good idea. Placed in todo. (Generally I thought it is already there, I have seen this in Eclipse, but could not found). I would call it Bookmark description/annotation and it would be possible to see it in menus and tooltips.

a) I would do with new beta - rename of menus.
b) Would wait for a some time, and probably would be done in 1.50. I would try to do only bug fixes for 1.4x now, to keep it stable, and put all new features into 1.50.

Best regards,
Alex.
