On the event of HE crash - retain/reopen the documents
« on: April 20, 2009, 09:33:50 pm »
Is that possible to store info on what documents were opened and reload them after the HE crash?
The reason is that if HE crashes I loose the ability to reload the documents I had opened before it and (as today 's crash) I never remember all of them by heart.

Hello Arthur,

you have them all in Recent list, so can reopen.
Open documents were reloaded before version 1.43.652, but i have explictly disable it, if last time HE exists with exception.
The reason for it, that if error occured somewhere during document parsing, there is no way to start HippoEDIT once more. You need to go to the workspace and manually delete last open files. And for new users that would be completelly not clear. So I have decided to change logic like that.

The only thing I can do to have xml flag, controling this.

What other think?

Best regards,
Alex.

I have changed my opinion :)

I think dialog with selection of what to do in this case would be the best.
