Transparent Find Dialog (on demand)
« on: June 01, 2009, 08:48:37 pm »
One nice feature I am missing from Notepad++ is the ability to make the search dialog transparent.

I find this useful, with HE I need to move it out of my way, hope that is not too too difficult to add soon.

Hi Arthur,

for this option I would say - No.
With transparency on dialogs you coul not seet neiver text under dialog neiver controls on dialog.
From my point of  view this is just a fancy technology added with win 2000 that every adds just to show we also can...

Best regards,
Alex.

Hmm, but the search dialog is large, thus overlapping the text... need to move it often out of my way. Well, you probably can add custom transparency slider to it, or add such an option, because once it is transparent you can still get to the next item by hitting the Enter key, right?

Because of the siye, I have introduced Quick Search Panel.
The dialog moved automatically to show next match.
I am really strong against of such function, I have already have experience with other windows transparence, so Arthur - No.
