Would like all my TODO items be listed in a separate pane
« on: June 22, 2009, 03:59:26 am »
I would like all my TODO items listed in a separate pane. Thinking the one that incorporates the search results 1, output, bookmarks, etc.

This concept is nothing new (exists in Visual Studio), but darn useful.

Hello Arthur,

good idea. Agree on this. Maybe this would come in 1.50.
It was not possible before, because parsing for all todos was not done, but now because of the document overview pane it is implemented, so can be also taken into one global list for all open document.
For not open, this would be more complex, but about this I can think later ;)

Best regards,
Alex.

I realize this is an old post, but I wanted to add my vote for this.

I've been spoiled by the Eclipse IDE which provides a pane for "TODO" / "FIXME" references in the open files.

This would be a great feature in HippoEdit.
