Request: sort encodings on save-as dialog

I needed to save a file in a particular encoding the other day (US-ASCII) and it took me a while to find it in the "Encoding" drop-down in the save-as dialog.

I'm assuming that this dialog is just sorted by numeric code page or something. What do you think about sorting it alphabetically?

Also: is US-ASCII the official name? I've never heard it called that, always just plain ASCII. I'm not aware of any other ASCII variants, so maybe the "US" prefix is redundant. Just wondering.

yes, sorting can be done. Not complete list probably (because Unicode items in beginning of the list should be always there as most used). Is is just unsorted, but probably you are right it is code page id order.
Would be done in new beta.

The name US-ASCII is official, not from me. Read from windows settings. I am not create names by myself .

BTW: this can be useful for you. You can filter not needed code pages or create your own list
