I am running HippoEDIT 1.44 on Window 7. When I save a favorite: C:\Development\Projects\ and then later choose that favorite from the "star" button drop down in the top pane of the file explorer, the top pane that lists directories only expands partially. The bottom pane that lists files lists the files in C:\Development\Projects.

If I use the drop down again and click the same folder for a second time, then the top pane (directory listing pane) expands all the way to C:\Development\Projects.

This behavior also happens with the "Syncronize with active file" button. Say that your directory explorer has not been touched from when you first loaded HippoEDIT. For me, it reads "Desktop" as it's only entry. Then you open C:\Development\Projects\HelloWorld\hello.c ... Then you press the Sync button. The file listing shows the files for C:\Development\Projects\HelloWorld, however the directory browser only expands part of the way. The Desktop expands. You can click the Sync button one more time and the directory browser will then expand all the way. It takes two clicks to make this happen.

Hi Jeremy,

I also could not reproduce it on XP. Have tried as with my files as with folder structure described by you.
Always expanded till HelloWorld. HelloWorld itself is not expanded. Checked as with Syncronize with active file as with Favorite Folders.

I would check also on Windows 7, maybe there are some changes in standard TreeCtrl were done...

Best regards,
Alex.

Hi Jeremy,

Yes, I think this is Windows 7 specific only. I have reproduced it on Windows 7 64 bit and thinks this Windows 7 itself bug in TreeCtrl.
But nevertheless I have done fix/workaround that solve this. Would be available next beta (hope today evening).

Best regards,
Alex.
