Just checking your screenshot, I can tell you that reason is that you try to change read only state for browser window (the browser window is active one, because if active window would be text editor, buttons on
Web
toolbar, as
Back
, are disabled)
.

I see, maybe if that is the case, then is such read only mode greyed?

Yes, this can be recognized as a bug. Similar problems exist for other indicators.
I would fix this next beta.
