I tried the Help card, but I have been unable to find if one can set cursor to "hidden while typing".
Is there such an option?

alex

Can be found here: Tools->Options->Editor->Display.
Hide cursor while typing property.

Sorry for being such a pest;
I have enabled this feature, but it [cursor] is still showing up err... ??? in other words it does not make any difference/effect [this setting].
Can you tell me how did it suppose to work?

alex

...

you need to start typing any text. Then mouse cursor should dissapear, if you do not touch the mouse.
Or you have expected something else?

Tools->Options->Editor->Display.  "[X]Hide cursor while typing" property.

To make this clear:

this is an option to hide the mouse cursor while typing.

The Text cursor ( caret ) is still there.
(BTW: the shape can be changed whit "Tools>Options...>Editor>Caret Shapes")

Form Wikipedia:

The Text cursor ( caret )  HAVE to be there because otherwise you don't have an glue where the next char will be appear.

HTH? :D
