HippoEDIT install to folder "C:\Compil\HippoEDIT\" as portable.
In my files i use "Tab size"  2 and "Replace tabs by spaces".
I set the "Tools / Options / Syntax settings / Tabs and Spaces", these values ​​for all languages ​​and for "All syntaxes". Until I close my HippoEDIT everything works correctly, but is close, then reopen HippoEDIT as values ​​"Tab size" and "Replace tabs by spaces" returned to the original ("Tab size" 4 and "Keep as typed").
The files "* _user.xml" remain unchanged, and they spelled out
<WordWrap Mode="0" page_width="110" show_page_width="true" show_glyphs="true" tab_size="2" tab_mode="2"/>

If i put HippoEDIT not as a portable unit, the result is the same.

Yes, confirm, it is a bug. Will fix with next 1.50 update (> 763).
Hope will update in some days, 1.50.763 (current) has a crash, sometimes, on closing of the application.
