Closing File Should Be Possible Also By Also Using an X on the Tab

I suggest it is far easier to click on X to close a file than reaching to the right of the editor or doing a right click.

Is that very difficult to add an X to a file tab?

Stefan

Is this really needed?

There are already several options to close an document, as they are:
- Ctrl+F4
- the [X] button on the right
- File menu
- right click on tab, choose 'Close'
- middle mouse button (wheel) click on tab
- >double click on tab<

Take an closer look on browser tabs .... this [X] take some space .....

Not very essential for me, but I like also that idea. It takes some space, sure, then why not as an option ?

I was thinking about this idea some when before, but decide to not implement and use shared close [X] on the right side explicitly because of the tab size reason.  I would prefer to have more text (or tabs) visible then having close button on every tab.

Also this, from my personal point of view a visual noise, when you have a lot of croses over all tabs.

But as an option, maybe. I would place it in todo list. But for me it would be low priority...
