Right now I have the bookmarks/folding disabled because it produces way too much xml files in my working directory. It would be great if you can save all the satellite files in the same directory where the settings reside, or to be able set a file/directory where to save these files.

I know this has been discussed before but I hope to see it in the next release :D

OK, I will keep in mind. And I will not point you to my previous answers if you already know them ;)

I agree, that having of the additional files for bookmarks a not a best solution, but sometimes this make sense to be able to transport bookmarks together with your source code in another location.

The easiest thing that I can add even in next beta, is to set file to hidden (and maybe to change extension, this was also requested).
The rest probably can be added only in major release, because requires UI changes.

Yes that would be a viable option as well. Though if there was a setting for a user to set a directory where all these files can be stored would be better. Setting the files to hidden might be a good short-term solution. But over time when you delete, move files you'll end up with lots of hidden files.
