REQ: zoom level editable on status bar

It would be nice to add zoom level in status bar (like syntax, tab width, and many others) and be able to choose it clicking on that control.
What do you think ?

You mean something like Wird 2007 has?
Dont know... There is already a lot of indicators in status bar, and currently no way to hide/show some of them. And this indicator (+/- slider) is rather big. Maybe percentage menu... With curent zoom level indicator.

But really dont now is it necessary...
Do you know that you can easy change font scale with Mouse Wheel keeping Ctrl?

I see anything simple as percentage editable or something like the tab width control in staus bar. So if we type 100, zoom is reset to normal size. I asked that because when I have Ctrll-wheeled x times, I don't know how much is the zoom level, and I can want go back quickly to 100%. So just typing 100 is good for me.
But anyway don't worry. It is not high priority.

Ok. I agree that there is no way to restore scale to 100% with a mouse (hm, it is possible through main menu or shortcut, but it is not an easy way).

I would check and maybe would add scale menu in status bar (as for tab width), with some predefined values.
