Well, I performed a search as in the image and the Find Dialog went at some point all the way to the top and now if I click on Find again it repositions itself beyond reach again and again (I wanted to lower it).

PS: Perhaps this condition exists in non-beta versions.

Ok, Arthur,

I got you :) The window is moved, but it does not fit into your monitor :)
But it is rather difficult in your scenario:
Screen height is 800 px and height of the Find dialog is 445 px, so if you put it on top or bottom of result in text it would not fit to sceen.

This should be checked, and if reposition is not fitting into screen, it should be canceled.
The fix would be available next beta.

Best regards,
Alex.

Well, the Find Dialog form/screen's top only escapes past the visible portion of my monitor.

Since the only way to reposition it is by using its title portion this operation becomes impossible in that scenario.

W/o repositioning the Find Dialog I cannot type in the search strings, and if I cancel it off next time I start it will come to the same place  :(.

After a restart the Find Dialog returns to its default position.

PS: I think the height of the Find Form is ~ 300 px not 400.

size of dialog depends from selected search type (resized by addtional option sub screen inside).
The problem with window position would be fixed any way :)

You are right, did not realize it has a dependency on the items chosen. Thank you for this intention.

Hi Arthur,

the beta from today should have a fix.

Got it, thank you for the quick update!
(besides, remembered to try to to uncheck some syntax support and it worked on XP, will try on Vista).
The dialog came positioned slightly too high, see picture.
And I still can tuck it with its title going beyond the monitor frame.
But the main thing - it works for me now.
