I am still not following up (I admit, I did ask in the past) how to search for a file.

Please post the right image on how.

Below is my experiment, and I am not getting any results.

Hi Arthur,

Jsut to understand better.
what you want :
- search for file which name contains "Testing" or
- search for file which has "Testing" some where inside content?

Ideally both, right now I am not getting either.

To search inside content:

  • select in Scope -> Files
  • put in Directory -> directory path, without wildcards
  • you can use Include Mask to include only files matching mask or Exclude Mask to exclude files matching mask

or you can use File Directory. Then you do not need directory path, because it is equal to current file directory in this case.

Searching of files by with file name containing search string is not supported. And I am not planning to add this soon. This is more file managers function, not text editor.
