Keyboard navigation on submenus has minor bug

Repro:

1. Press Alt-'E' to open edit menu
2. Press 'L' to open the Line submenu
3. Press Left Arrow

Incorrect behavior: step 3 closes the Edit menu and opens the File menu
Expected behavior: step 3 should just close the Line submenu.

This occurs in #1.43.660

reproduced. Yes, I agree this is a bug, but fix can take time.
Part of coding handling this not trivial...
