HE 1.45 is listed under 1.41 in Add/Remove programs

I think the picture speaks for itself (I have version 1.45.697 installed).

Also, I think the usage info is correct based on when I had the actual 1.41

PS: I seem have been unable to locate the 1.45 in Add/Remove applet.

I think the reason that you did install on top. And installer record was not overwritten.
I would check on NSIS site but do not sure that I can fix this.

Perhaps, perhaps. But I see where the issue is, and I guess this is the installer:

in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\HippoEdit

there is key DisplayName and its value is set to HippoEdit 1.41
it really should be 1.45
I think there are more people like me, they are either not reporting on this or unaware.

Hi Arthur,

I have tested reinstall of the HE. From 1.44 to 1.45 and in my cases all were updated correctly.
As in Add/Remove Programs applet as in registry.
Also I have not noticed problem with corrupted license file :/.

Or you did something differently or you got some specific problems during installation...

I have never proceeded with the actual re-install.
It seems I have always "installed on top".
Nevertheless, since HE is working well I am fine.
Please consider this issue my fault.
