Word wrap and column mode

In column mode, we can for example insert any text at the same place in the selected lines.
But if word wrap is allowed, it causes issues when the text exceeds the right edge.

So I think that column mode should be disabled if wordwrap is allowed.
What do you think ?

Another thing : I have assigned Ctrl-W to View.WordWrapEasy command. And I'm happy !

Last thing : I discovered that right-clicking in overview bar (at the extreme right of the window, if View/Window/OverviewBar is on), we have access to "Preferences" which opens dialog for the active syntax.

I would not agree. I have already evaluated this some time ago.
In many cases when you have word wrap enabled, you can still do the column mode selection editing for lines which are not wrapped. And I dont want to force users to switch WW off and on only to do some column mode operations...

I would say if lines are wrapped (or would be wrapped after column mode editing) this is user fault. He can still have an undo, disable word-wrap and do the desiged action.

Yes I understand. But I was once or twice perturbed by the behaviour of inserting some word in column mode. First and second time, I believed that HE was buggy, whereas wordwrap was on.
Perhaps a warning should be welcome in that case, with an option to ignore always that type of warning.
BTW many text editors disable column mode while ww is on. But effectively, it is too constricting.

Yes, I know that some editors block column editing in WW mode. But I wrote my points about this.
There is no problem to add warning (status message) if you try to do block editing of wrapped lines. I would introduce this next beta. Thanks
