Suggest to display the file format in the status bar

Presently, if one opens say a UNIX file type (Line Feed chars for record delimiter only), HippoEdit happily opens the file displaying it correctly (or as if it would be a Windows, CRLF chars containing file), but the fact a non-Windows type of a file is loaded remains transparent to the end user, therefore I am proposing adding such a message or an indicator to the status bar.

PS: Out of many text editors looks like only Notepad++ does that.

Hi Arthur,

HE indicates line break style in status bar. The description of line break style can be seen in corresponding popup menu, active on click on statis bar indicatior.
I have decided to show line break characters because of the smaller space they need and while this information more useful than names. What is a right name for LFCR?

Let us see if some other user will complain, before that I will keep visualisation like it is.

BR, Alex.

The CRLF ending of a file is attributable to the Windows operating system.
