Setting PHP as Default
« on: September 10, 2015, 06:45:01 PM »
I have more than 150 files in my PHP project and need each file to open in HE using the default PHP syntax highlighting I have defined. After manually defining the syntax for each file, I somehow lost the formatting and had to do it all again. Is there a way to set PHP as the default syntax for my project, so that each file opened is automatically formatted with the preferred highlighting?

there is a way to set default syntax for all files in project in Project -> Properties, but I am afraid it only used for new files. And maybe for file, which syntax can not be detected (here I am not sure, but this can be adjusted, probably). But there is no way, to force syntax for all files in project.

Can you please expaine your use case in more detail? Maybe there is other way to achieve what you want.
Are all this 150 files are *.php files and you would like to overwrite default PHP syntax highlighting by your own syntax schema? In this case you can or disable standard PHP syntax or modify file masks for proper selection of syntax.

Your file preferences may be lost, if TEMP folder is cleaned:
