Today i searched  an way to save and close a few files at once.

So i found the menu "Windows > Windows..."
- where i select a few files and clicked at [Save]
- next i wanted to close this files by using [Close Windows] but the files are found unselected and i had to selected them again.
That's why i think "keep the selection after action" would be an good idea.

--- ahh now i see i can use instead [Close Windows] on unsaved files and be prompted then to save them - where i can check "don't ask again"

Fine too!

But now i had got an another idea:
how about an "Filter by dirty" -option to use the live filter feature to see only modified files?

( i know: not anymore for 1.49 ;-) )

Hi Stefan,

Lost selection after the Save it is a bug. Probably regression based on recent changes here, when selection was left, after closing of the windows.
I will fix this next beta or it will be 1.49 release.

And how about using sorting of the list by modified column? I think this will be 95% time sufficient ;)

Ohh  :o sorry.
I have to resize the column width to see it.
Problem fixed, thanks  :D

An another idea, if easily doable:

For "Windows > Windows..."  add an column with open date/time of the current open documents.

That way we can sort by open time and select just the files opened (f.ex. by find) in the last minute for closing.

Hi Stefan,

I do not store time of document opening from one side, and from another side I think this is rather rare use case for spending effort to it.
Also, taking into account, that initial sequence (theoretically, have not checked that) should be in document opening order, if I do not do initial resort by name for example.
Tabs are also open in opening order. You just need to find first opened file :)
