IMHO 2.0 better vers name. Too many new features.

When do u release?

alex

Maybe 2.0 is better, but 1.50 was mentioned  already too often to change now to 2.0.
Just next time I will not go with so big release circles and will make smaller but often releases.

I had hope to release 1.50 before NY, but I afraid I will not be able to do so.
The only missing feature now is update notification for bundles, which will need some testing.

What is bundles? i miss smth? do u mean syntax files?

alex

Bundles are pre-configured packages, that can contain any HippoEDIT addon/extension. It can be syntax files, script/binary plugins, color schemes, file templates etc.
Technically it is a zip archive (with predefined extension .hebundle) with files and installation instruction inside (package-info.xml) which defines how/where files will be extracted and what shall be registered. In addition it contain rollback instruction to un-install the bundle. The bundle files extension is registered by hippoedit and installation of the bundle will be executes automatically if you open (double click) it in Windows. Relevant only for 1.50. In 1.49 "bundles" were just a zip archive with files you need to unpack by yourself. From 1.50 all updates withing Update Manager,  seamlessly integrated online resources (online plugins, color schemes etc in settings), extensions from web site are installed with help of bundles.
