Non-unicode version mixes language strings

I am a longstanding English language beta tester of the non-unicode version. The latest iteration 1.50.788 is coming up with some Chinese strings. These seem only to appear in various dropdown combo boxes as illustrated by the screenshot below:



The foreign string disappear on clicking into the combo box. Any suggestion on how to stop these strings from appearing?

Hi,

it is not Chinese This is a bug, with input help in combos/edit fields, probably because wrong conversion from Unicode to ASCII characters.
I will fix this in new update.
