Quck Search Bar Keeps Reappearing

I expect the following: once I click on the x of the quick search bar and close off HE, next time I start it the quick search bar is not visible.

This is exactly what is happening... unless:

I start a new HE session, create a new document (say it becomes Untitled3, etc.), paste some text in, close off the quick search bar (positioned at the bottom) and then exit HE, it asks if I want to save the file(s), I choose not to save any. I start a new session just to find that the quick search is there again

Besides, I prefer and suggest to rename menu item Windows found under View to something not confusing me with the Window menu further right, by the way it feels like the right English name for those things grouped under the Windows menu is PANE.

PS: 1.42.620 is the version I am using.

Quick Search Bar is Document and Syntax dependent.
If you close the search bar, with Close button on it, this preference is only sotred for current document.
You can maintain preferences for all documents of some syntax in Windows section of synatx settings.
Probably you have it set, for your default syntax.

I agree on renaming. Would be done with new beta. Also name of section i syntax settings
