Statistics Report

I am missing a statistics report e.g. how much time was spent editing a file/document. How many chars were typed in in what time (rate).
Word count, paragraph count, etc.

Any other folks?

Hello Arthur,

thanks for suggestion. Would put into to do.
But for me this has rather low priority - do not know how useful this information and why it is needed.
Maybe this can be done also as a plugin.
Would see if somebody else would requre that.

I think it can be part of File -> Properties pages.

The feature is used for productivity assessment.

The number of words and paragraphs is useful when one needs to produce a required amount of documentation (e.g. describing a particular area of an application or other).
Or if one needs to find out say the quantity of real source code lines (not sure if it is possible to skip over comments though).
