Strange File Choices for New Text File

I think this is not a bug, rather something configurable somewhere, but when I need to create a new Text File using the File -> New Plain Text menu I get 4 files named .txt, .log, .giz, and .trc
On my machine, for example, the last one is associated with SQL Server Trace Files (see picture).
I do not think HE needs to have these off the installation by default, is there a reason?

What I really like to have is just the .txt option.
Also is this possible to have a keyboard shortcut to produce just the .txt?

alex

These are all standard plain text extensions, so that is why they are in file pattern for Plain Text in HippoEDIT. And trc extension is used not only by SQL server.

But if you do not like this, you can just modify txt_spec.xml and remove extension you do not want from file pattern.

I knew that :-)
Good, but: "Also is this possible to have a keyboard shortcut to produce just the .txt?"

No, currently this is not possible.
And because I do not see an easy way hot to implement this, I do not know when this would be implemented. But I can place this in todo list ;)
