The title field for favorite folder appears grayed out (cannot be edited). I tried editing the entry in hippoedit.config with <Favorite name="name" path="path"/> but it ignored the name parameter (also tried title instead of name). Is this feature functional? I am using version 1.61.53 x64 on Windows 10 Pro.

Hello Stew,

I assume you mean Favorite Folders feature for File Explorer...
You can not edit Title in folder favorites, while it always automatically created from the path (shortened).
The title field is an only preview of it.

And what is your use case?

Thanks for the clarification regarding the title field for Favorite Folders in the File Explorer. Having a title that is user defined on a separate basis from the folder path makes the list of Favorite Folders easier to use. I use such a feature a lot in XYPlorer. As it stands, the title field in HippoEDIT seems superfluous.

Hi Stew.

OK, understood. Make sense. Will put this in a todo list for 2.00.
