Running command line hippoedit.exe --help produces a help card + new HE instance.

I think the intended purpose of such a switch is to show the help (command line options) exclusively.

no this is by design. HE is not a console, so this style is ok.
And also I do not think that problem cost solving ;)
Of course I can close the main widow at the end, but why?

HippoEdit.exe --workspace=viewer d:\scripts.vbs -l 32 - this crashes

how many lines has d:\scripts.vbs ?
