Want to be able to have multiple searches highlighted in different colors

I would like to be able to have multiple searches highlighted in different colors.

It makes sense to me to be able to differentiate between items e.g:

Idea is good, I have it already in the todo list (something like this exist in emeditor as I know).
It also intersects a little bit with ideas suggested by Stefan already about persistent searches.

But from development efforts point of view it is big. So it can come only in some next major release (1.5x or higher)

I suggest you bump the priority up. Because from the marketing prospective you may want to stay ahead or at least intact with the competition. Any ETA for the new beta?

Wtih limited resources it is not possible to cover all features available or planned in other editors in one release. Also you never know what is most important for every user.
I am trying to keep HE development balanced, and make stronger parts that are weak, and search is already rather powerful.

For new beta I need at least 2-3 days. 1.5x I woudl start as far as I stop doing all requests and bug fixes for 1.4x.

No hurry at all, but here's my +1 for the idea of highlighting search matches in different colors. That would be very helpful to me when reviewing / fixing problems in text.

Hello Marek,

I would take your opinion in account I like this idea too, but it is to big to do it in bug fix release (as 1.44). I would try to implement it in 1.50, and would add also to feature request poll.
