No Remove on Invalid Links to Project Files

As topic, I feel that if a (project) file does not exist anymore, it should be cleared from the list in order to tidy up the menu.

I would not say that this 100% correct behavior.
The standard way for Recent items (for example recent files) provided by MS keeps even not existing file in the list, until you click it.
Because maybe file was open from USB drive or network resource which is currently not available or not plugged, but can be connected later, and then the link would be correct.

Maybe I can think about checking if file is on removable or remote drive or on fixed, and change logic according to this, but if doing so, I need to update algorithms for all recent list used in HE to be consistent. And this is rather big effort. comparing to benefits it provide...

I would put the request to my todo list, but do not promise that this would be implemented soon.

Secondly, I clicked on the filename that is no longer exist (In places like Desktop). I gives me an untitled project.

I think HE just keep old project open (probably in your case it was initial one).
Yes, here it is inconsistent with logic used for Recent files, I would fix this.

The fix would be available with new beta.
