Sorry for no screenshot for this, but when I created an auto workspace, config that as either viewer or default which later will be deleted, it will not revert back to relavant default settings until I changed the settings.

Sorry Samuel,

I could not understand the problem you got.

And I think you have not used auto workspace (or at least in terms of HE auto workspace is something different).

Auto Workspace is special type of the workspaces connected to a specific current folder. And usually you can get them when starting HE from the command line:
HippoEdit.exe -w.
HippoEdit.exe --workspace=.

Then next time you would call the HE from same directory with such command you would get dedicated workspace. Such workspaces stored as guids in auto directory in workspaces folder.

Best regards,
Alex.

Yes -- Under Workspaces folder, I did have an auto subfolder, followed with some random alphanumeric name.

Under the setting in Options -> General -> Workspaces, the drop down list shows those auto workspace that has been deleted until I attempted to change default / viewer workspace.

Still not clear... :)

Why drop down shows that auto workspaces? is this was by default or you have selected it with browse?
When auto workspaces were "deleted" from the list?

Auto workspaces are not designed to be used as default or viewer workspaces. That is why they are initially filtered from the list. They designed to works specially in pair with current folder.

If you want to copy one of the auto workspaces you can copy it manually (renaming and removing auto_dir setting from it) or open as designed hippoedit.exe -w. and call Workspace->Save As.

Alex.
