I have just came across two features implemented in VS 2010 - boxed text selection with multiline editing, but actually it was already implemented in HippoEdit ,if I am not mistaken in the previous version.
Here is the link to a very nice presentation, just be aware HippoEdit can do the same: http://is.gd/bJcR1
The idea is simply in the ability to Alt-Select multiple lines of text and then write / edit across all of them at once.

Hi Arthur,

thanks for the link to demo.
I have checked it. And yes, everything is already available in HE.
There was a post from zhouzh2 with link to more interesting article about SublimeText features with multi editing. For me this is direction to go, for further versions.

Best regards,
Alex.

Hi Alain,

the problem i development resources ;)
The functionality require significant efforts and I am already overloaded with requests for 1.50. This is a reason.

You can try SublimeText then you can bring good ideas and suggestion for current functionality in HE, but at the end even with such cool features Sublime is weaker then HE. But of course that depends from what you need ;).

Best regards,
Alex.
