Hi all,

I just discovered HippoEDIT. Nice GUI, nice coding template and easy scripting. I like it. I am using eTexteditor and HippoEdit side-by-side. The most annoying thing for me in HippoEDIT is searching window. It will be better with search panel at the bottom. (See attached  picture)

Keep developing HippoEDIT.

CTRL + Q is nice but can be more advanced like in picture.

Hi Vi,

There are not scripting in 1.4x yet but will come in 1.50.

I am not planing to to extend Quick Search bar with replace field. From my point of view, the replace, is a such function that should be taken carefully and not often, so Find dialog for this is fine.
From other options from eTextEditor, I see only regular expression is missing - this is will come with 1.50.

Sorry, I meant CodeTemplate scripting I added my commonly used functions easily to HippoEDIT, now trying to add some CodeIgniter support. There are some cool stuffs like ZenCoding. If scripting allows to write something like that (ZenCoding), I could be volunteer for this.

Yes, I thought about integrating of the ZenCoding (some details are already discussed).
I think it should be not too much effort to port some of the JS implementation I have seen for HE, but this only in 1.50.
As far as beta (not development version) will be published, I will ask you for help

I am using trial version for now. Waiting 1.50 version with some enchantment and paypal account.
